Hi, I'm Lyn!

I love people.
I love listening.
I believe exercise is important, but only if it helps me enjoy life more. Otherwise, what's the point right?
I hold certifications and a degree that say, "I can help you." These include, ACE CPT, ACE GFT, BASI Certified, Kaiser Certified, Shwinn certified, and a Degree in Education with a Math minor. I'm a fact-checking data geek disguised as a nice-lady.
I'm the 2018 award winning author of the book COUCH to ACTIVE, and host of the COUCH to ACTIVE podcast.
Before launching COUCH to ACTIVE, I spent 20 years as a Senior Consultant for corporations such as Microsoft, Boeing, Praxair, Philips Healthcare, and T-Mobile. I've managed high-stakes global projects with the daily grind of get-it-done-yesterday deadlines.
For 10 years, I was also a single-parent juggling it all.
Today, I have chronic health issues with my lungs, nervous system, and GI that will most likely be with me for the rest of my life. I refuse to let these issues stop me. My motto: "I may not feel well, but I can be well."
